The Cintiq 24HD is the highest end Wacom tablet display you can buy. I used to dream of buying a Cintiq 21UX, but no longer. Well, I wouldn’t say no to a 21UX if it was given to me.

The most notable and obvious feature of the 24HD is the 24″ screen and the 1920 x 1200 high definition display.

This display tablet is larger than the Cintiq 21UX and two times larger than the Cintiq12WX. Click on the links to read my reviews of those display tablets.

Like the 21UX display tablet, you can write directly on the screen. Sadly, I haven’t had a chance to use a 24HD tablet yet, but all the reviews I have read have praised the Cintiq 24HD for it’s ease of use, improved adjust-ability and natural feel.

Other pros include increased contrast and color gamut. The adjustable stand is very sturdy. One reviewer mentioned they could lean on it without any problems. The front has 10 programmable buttons/controls for efficiency.

I read a lot of reviews to see if there are any negatives about the Cintiq 24HD and the only thing that kept coming up is the high price. The list price on Wacom.com is $2599 and a 16% restocking fee if you decide to return the tablet for any reason. Amazon typically sells all Wacom tablets for less than retail so you might want to check them out first. I’ve mentioned before that I trust Amazon completely even for electronics, but choose a store you trust and buy it from them.
